So Much Weezer News I'm About To Pop

My Weezer radar went off the charts today thanks to a tip off from the tripwire. Weez main man Rivers Cuomo will be graciously releasing his first solo collection this December! Alone: The Home Recordings Of Rivers Cuomo 1992-2007 will be out on 12/11/07. It's a collection of never before heard music, including tracks from the scrapped album Songs From the Black Hole that later morphed into what would be Pinkerton. Cannot wait, and thank you Rivers!

And in even bigger news from Weezer.com - Album #6 is now in the mixing stage! And reports from the band and Carl all point to what will be a very special, killer album. Read Carl's post over at Weezer.com for more.

new tree

i recently scanned in a bunch of sketches/doodles from post its and office papers. most of these were done while talking on the phone or sitting in on meetings. i really like this tree.

REM Hearts Anderson Cooper

REM are set to debut a brand new song from their forthcoming album tonight on Anderson Cooper 360, CNN. The track titled "Until the Day Is Done" will air tonight and will also appear in an upcoming CNN special documentary series about the state of our damaged planet. The short series, Planet in Peril will air 10/23 and 10/24 on CNN. For more check out the article here.
