Check out this poster I created for Ray LaMontagne back in August. Ray is an incredible artist and I am a huge fan. His latest album Till The Sun Turns Black is a somber winter-ready masterpiece. It was a real treat getting to work with him and his camp on this piece.

And word on the street is that Ray is already plotting his next opus.

Bass Player in Venice

Here is a sketch of a work in progress. The sketch is based on a photograph I took of street musicians in Venice in 2000. The full photo has this upright bass player playing alongside a cool looking violin player and there is a young boy watching them play intently from the side. It was one of my favorite images that I captured on my trip.
